baby… Send for Catherine Blaikley! Williamsburg’s midwife delivered 3,000 babies in her lifetime, and her house still stands today on Duke of Gloucester Street. Visit her home and and then find her gravestone at Bruton Parish Church and pay your respects to the lady who ushered in a new generation of Williamsburg citizens.
